Telling Stories in Charleston

This past January, Condé Nast Traveler chose Charleston, SC as the best city in the country and second best in the world when it published “The 50 Most Beautiful Cities in the World,” issue. Among the global winners, only four U.S. cities were named: New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC and our very own Charleston, South Carolina.

We’re delighted that Charleston carriage tours are highlighted in the what makes Charleston so lovely. We couldn’t agree more with Conde Nast that wrote, “With its beautiful gardens, vibrantly painted Georgian houses along Rainbow Row, and carriages clacking across cobblestone streets, Charleston remains one of the country’s most picturesque cities.”

It’s not just Charleston’s charm and picturesque views that make this wonderful city the best in the nation; it’s the stories that you find around every corner. On a carriage tour from Charleston Carriage Works, our professional tour guides will tell you the stories that live within the culture of historic downtown Charleston. These stories and legends have been passed down since the birth of our nation, and are still a very prominent part of our sweet southern city.
